For Logistics – Why Does Supply Chain 3.0 Matter?

There is a common misconception of Logistics and Supply Chain being the same thing.

  •  Logistics are often blamed for late and/or missed deliveries

Sales people tend to blame the logistic department for not having the right product, at the right time, in the right place, in the right quantities, in the right specifications. They also blame them for not doing it in an efficient manner which pushes up the costs and makes their job harder to sell.

  • High costs

There is a lot at stake. High costs in logistics can come from insufficient management of outsourcing vendors, or trying to do everything in-house.
